Book reflection

Well, we were supposed to read 300 pages for this quarter so we could do these properly, well, I have already read approximately 1100 pages, so I’ll talk about the book that I am currently reading. The title of the book is called “Fear”; it is the fifth book in the “Gone” series by Michael Grant.  ß (Astrid) ß (other characters that I didn’t mention because they weren’t relevant  for my post.)

Her nick name was Astrid the Genius, she was smart, duh, she was beautiful, duh, and up until this point, she had been one of the most powerful people in these books. But now, this is Astrid, “She wore a pair of jeans and a plaid flannel shirt over a black T-shirt several sizes too big. A leather belt made two turns around her waist. It was a man’s belt, and a big man at that. But it was sturdy, and bore the weight of the 0.38 caliber revolver, her machete and her water bottle.”

Now take a girl who is smart, very religious, and very beautiful, and then give her a 0.38 revolver. She would give it back right? Or hold it while giving you a confused look? Well not her, she is living alone in the forest fighting and scavenging for her food. Killing anything that crosses her path, while exploring the forest and staying alive under a dome that is twenty miles wide. While trying to stay away from the demons that haut her nightmares and even her life, because under this dome, anything can happen, and it just so happens that the dome and everything that happens is caused by her 5 year old autistic brother.
